What are Embed Codes and how can I use them?

The embed code "</> Embed" is a piece of html code of your Web map or of Map Your City locations that you can add to your website. It shows the content of your Web map or specific Locations (Cards) on your blog, home or landing page. In this link you can see an example of a Web map created using Map Your City embedded on a website: https://mapyour.city/explore-amsterdam/

To use this feature:

  1. Log into your Map Your City Dashboard
  2. To embed any Location: Click on "</> Embed" code button of any Location,
  3. To embed your Web map: Copy the Embed code for your Web map from the Locations Tab in your Organization Menu
  4. Copy the code then paste it on your website in a html supporting medium, like your html editor or the source file of your website, or in an embed box.

Changing the embed code settings:

The settings in the Embed code are carefully chosen to give the best result embedding your Web map or Location cards on your website. Customizing or resizing is not recommended.
