About the Dashboard Menu Activity Tab

The Activity Tab on Your Dashboard Menu highlights valuable details about your Organizations, Locations and Followers. It gives you insights how well your communities are doing and helps you to make smarter marketing decisions. When you have first created your Organization you will see some helpful recommendations to get started. Learn more about the data available in each section of the Dashboard Menu and how to take action on it in this article.

Are you on a trial run? Remember your Organization Profile (on locations) is only visible for your Organization's members.Your Organization will be visible and can be searched for in the mobile app for others once you have subscribed. This may affect the number of interactions (clicks, views, favorites) and growth that are displayed on your Dashboard. But you will still be able to fully test how it works with your Organization's members.

Recent Growth

This recent growth section looks at the last 30 days of account activity. All other data on the audience dashboard is cumulative over the life of your account. Large blocks on the top of the page give you an at-a-glance overview of your Location engagement and cumulative Organization growth over the last 30 days. 

Your Location Engagement is an aggregated metric that is key to your business bottom line. This action metric tells you how people are engaging with your business locations. For your Location engagement you'll see a breakdown in Clicks, Views and Favorites. For your Organizations' stats you’ll see a breakdown into Members, Owners & Followers. 

Your top performers

This overview of your top performing locations shows you which of your locations have helped you grow your audience, website visits or ticket sales the most. Your top performers, broken down by how often people click, view and favorite your locations in the Map Your City mobile app. We’ll rank the location where we detect the most activity for - you can slice and dice the list by re-ordering by clicks, views, or favorites.

Good to know: Location clicks are counted when your Location pin is clicked or tapped on in the mobile app. Views are counted once your Location is opened - either from a map click, or from your Organization's list, or from a push notification with a deep link to your location. Views also include opens after sharing your locations for example on Facebook and twitter, and even opens right from the Dashboard are included.

Your latest followers

Keep track of your latest followers to all your Organizations. The Followers Tab of each Organization (accessible from the Organization Menu) reveals all the followers to a specific Organization. You can find more info in the User Guide for Organizations on how to set up in 5 easy steps.

Your latest locations

Keep track of your latest locations of all your Organizations. The Locations Tab of each Organization (accessible from the Organization Menu) reveals all the locations to a specific Organization. You can find more info in the User Guide for Organizations on how to set up in 5 easy steps.

Your latest members

Keep track of your latest members to all your Organizations. The Members Tab of each Organization (accessible from the Organization Menu) reveals all the members to a specific Organization. You can find more info in the User Guide for Organizations on how to set up in 5 easy steps.

How do I invite others to view the account I am managing?

You can invite others to your Organization, if you invite them as an Owner they can get access to the Dashboard just like you can. If you already have members that you would like to give Owner rights. That is pretty simple as well. All you need to do is change their role from Member to Owner. You can do that from the Members tab of your Organization. You can read more about it here

How do I transfer Ownership of an Organization account I am managing?

The process for transferring the ownership of your account to another person depends on whether the intended owner has a Map Your City account and/or is Member or Owner of the Organization. You can read more about it here
