In Map Your City, everything happens in a community. A Map Your City community is simply a group of people mapping & promoting together – like your company, organization, city or town. Copromote, cocreate foot traffic & increase sales at all your locations – that is doing smart business together! You can either join an existing community or create one yourself. When you create your community on Map Your City - you are the owner of that community and can invite others to join.

Joining a community with your business is free, you can join as many as you fancy. Here's a helpful overview of the various Map Your City plans that expands on the plan-specific features and prices (in USD).
Subscription Questions
How do I check my member, location and push notification count on my plan?
To see how many members, locations and push notifications you are currently paying for:
- Sign in to your Map Your City dashboard on your desktop or tablet at api.mapyour.city.
- In the main navigation at the top of the page, click Organizations.
- The Organizations page will open with the Organizations table active.
- To the right of the table, click the Edit or Update Plan tab and click the My Plan & Credit Tab next.
You can see the Plan you are paying for on the right side and on the left side of the page, you’ll see the number of members, locations and push notifications reserved monthly for your Organization.
How do I downgrade my plan?
Are you currently on a paid Essentials Plan and wish to cancel your Paid Plan for an Organization? You can do so simply by clicking the cancel plan link under the My Plan and Credits tab of that Organization. After cancelling your plan, you are allowed to continue using the premium plan features until the end of your billing cycle.
Should you wish to downgrade certain Plan Add-Ons that you are currently using, simply adjust the sliders in the Update Plan tab to your desired setting. Find more info on how the Plan Add-Ons work here.

Can I update my Plan Add-Ons during the billing cycle?
You can update your Plan Add-Ons whenever you need to. If you update your Plan Add-Ons between your billing dates, we charge a prorated amount at your next billing based on the number of days left in the billing cycle when your Plan Add-Ons were updated.
For example, if you're on our Essentials plan paying $49/month and have currently 5 extra Members added paying $6/month: When you add another 5 extra Members on Day 15 of your 30 day billing cycle, you would be charged $3 at your next billing for the remaining 15 days of using the extra contingent.
Your new total amount would be (49+12=) $61/month. Upon updating your Plan Add-On you are requested to ok your new total Monthly billing amount. On your next Payment receipt you would see your new amount $61 + the one time proration of the previous month $3.
You can always check your Monthly billing amount and next billing date under the My Plan and Credits Tab of the Organization.
How do I remove Members or Locations from my Plan?
You can remove Members and Locations from your Organization by disconnecting them from your Organization. You might want to do that before downgrading your Plan below the number of Locations or Members currently connected for your Organization. Otherwise you are not allowed to downgrade in that case. Can I pause my paid plan?
No. You can only cancel your Plan - however your Organization settings are saved until you or another Owner decides to Subscribe again. Let's say you have a Festival that runs during a limited time only. After the festival is over you can cancel your Plan. After cancelling your plan, you are allowed to continue using the premium plan features until the end of your billing cycle. Your Organization will be disabled after, but all your settings will be saved. What happens:
- People (outside of your Members) will no longer be able to see your Profile in the Map Your City mobile app or the information that you have shared to Locations.
- The information that you shared to Locations will no longer be available on your Web map
- You can no longer access certain Features in the Web Dashboard.
- Your community members will receive an email you have cancelled and are requested to let us know if someone wants to take over the reins.
At least one person must be the account Owner in order to manage subscription and billing settings. If you need to change the Owner, the current account Owner can do so in their account ( check out this article for more details).
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express payments from customers worldwide. You can find more info on this here.
Why does it say ANDRS Projects Europe on my billing receipt?
Map Your City is owned and operated by ANDRS Projects Europe B.V., a Netherlands private limited company. For billing questions please contact us at billing@andrs.nu
Sales tax on subscriptions
Prices shown on the Map Your City website do not include sales tax or VAT. You're responsible for any taxes and for all other charges incidental to using the Platform (for example, data charges and currency exchange settlements). You will pay the fees in the currency Map Your City quoted for your account.
What are Map Your City's refund policies?
- Downgrade from Paid to Free: If you purchase a paid Map Your City plan and then downgrade to a Free plan (cancel your Paid Subscription): After cancelling your plan, you are allowed to continue using the premium plan features until the end of your billing cycle.
- Downgrading to a lower Plan: If you purchase a paid Map Your City plan and then downgrade to a lower plan, Map Your City only charges you a prorated amount the next time you are billed for your new plan.
- Upgrading to a higher Plan: When upgrading to a higher plan, a prorated credit for the unused proportion on the current subscription will be automatically applied on the next month billing cycle so that you only paid the difference.
Account Questions
How do I delete my account?
If you would like to delete your account, please contact us here with a formal request to delete your account. Please note that an account deletion request must come from the email address associated with the Map Your City account; otherwise, Map Your City Support will not be permitted to fulfill the deletion request.
Once an account is deleted, any files within that account will be lost, and we'll be unable to restore them. Read more about getting Access to your Personal Data in this article.
How do I change the name on my account?

How do I transfer the account to another user?
You cannot transfer your personal account to another user. You can transfer Ownership of any of the Organization accounts you are managing. At least one person must be the account Owner in order to manage subscription and billing settings for an Organization. If you need to change the Owner, the current account Owner can do so in their account. ( check out this article for more details).
Annual Subscriptions
How do annual payments work and how much do I save?
We only offer annual payments on Enterprise Plans. If you are on an Enterprise Plan you are using larger contingents and the flexibility is already built in your plan. We like doing it this way, so we never have to ask you to make additional payments along the way as your business changes. We'll send you a renewal reminder 30 days before your annual prepaid credit runs out. Contact us for a custom quote or to customize features.
