Facebook Login has been deprecated

When we started with Map Your City in 2015 the world looked a little different than today. Enabling you to login with your Facebook account meant an extremely easy single sign-on experience without you having to remember multiple passwords. Security issues surrounding Facebook but also an increased awareness on privacy & personal information and special vault apps available for easy secure logins from your devices, all have made us reconsider the use of a third-party single sign-on method embedded in our app.

Improving your sign-in experience but now what?

As from next release your sign in experience will improve, but the Sign in with Facebook button will no longer be available. If you have been using Facebook to login to the Map Your City app, here is what you do:

1. The first time you log in again tap "Already have an account? Sign in"
2. And next tap the Button "Forget Something?" 

3. Provide your email you use to login on Facebook. This is important as this is the email that is registered with us. This will send you an email with a link enabling you to reset your password. Make sure you use a secure password, for example by using a password generator. Do not use easily used passwords or use the same passwords for multiple accounts.
